Slow Roast Winter Warmer Pork Belly

Skinned and rolled belly of pork slow roasted and basted with Copella Winter Warmer.

Ingredients

  • One skinned and rolled pork belly.
  • One bottle Copella Winter Warmer

Method

Place pork in covered roasting tin with 1/3 bottle of Copella Winter Warmer. Place in oven at 140 degrees.
After one hour remove from oven and baste with juices in pan.
Replace in oven.
Repeat after two hours, and after three hours.
Cook uncovered for half an hour at 160 degrees.
Serve slices with creamy mashed potato, steamed cabbage and parsnips.
Thicken the juices with a little cornflour to make a sauce.
