Hi there, my name is Simon and I work here at Copella. A couple of weeks ago, I spent the day in the orchards talking to some very keen apple experts. Paul & Steve know everything there is to know about apple trees and apples – I guess you would if you had been working with them for over 20 years!

Anyway, it was a beautiful day to be in the orchards and see all the pretty blossom. I learnt about the vital role that bees play in the life of an apple. Without bees to pollinate the blossom on apple trees, there would be no apples! Make sure you check out the spring video we made on the ‘down at the farm page’, who knows you might learn a thing or two.

Hopefully they’ll let me make another one when the apples are on the trees, so I can spend another day in the orchards!
