After a few weeks without snow, this morning saw more snow falling over Boxford Farm

I’ve been with the company nearly two years now and its changed in so many ways in such a short period of time. When I joined Copella we had an aim to be at zero landfill by 2012, it seemed a huge and impossible task at the time but the good news is that we reached that milestone two years ahead of time!

Down on Boxford Farm the evenings are drawing in, the cold snap has begun and the snow is beginning to fall; and although the winter weather may make us want to curl up on the sofa in front of the fire, it is actually a key time for the apple nurturing process, and therefore creates a perfect opportunity for us to show you what we get up to down on the farm in the winter months.

Here are a few pictures taken during the January cold spell. The cold weather and recent snow fall will prove to be a tough time for the local wildlife. For the naturalist however, harsh weather can be a good time for nature watching as the scant food supply forces many species to lower their guard [...]

Whilst driving into work this morning through the orchards it was good to see the pickers out.

Fine art plays a big part in both my family and my professional life. Copella and fine art , yes there is a connection, maybe not an obvious one.

English apples are close to our hearts here at Copella. Page 23 of today’s Daily Telegraph features an article highlighting the challenges English apples face.

This year Copella Fruit Juices celebrates its 40th birthday. In 1969 the first drop of Copella apple juice was pressed on Boxford farm by Bill & Devora Peake.

Well the bees did their job pollinating the blossom during spring and now the blossom has budded into bright red delicious tasting apples.

On Saturday we were at Kenwood house enjoying the picnic concert and giving lucky picnic goers the chance to try Copella.
